

In 1969, Cha-Kyung Koo became LG's second chairman. Cha-Kyung Koo realized that the 1970s would be a turning point for LG's global ambition and declared that he would push for stable growth and globalization policies. In this decade, LG grew solidly, expanded its business areas, and served society. LG also was able to provide responsible and mature corporate images to the public.
During the rapid growth period in the 1970s, LG's management beliefs further evolved toward unity, a pioneering spirit, and research and development.
