Attracting overseas talent

LG is conducting a massive recruitment drive of overseas talent, including world-class research and development (R&D) personnel, through LG Electronics, LG Chem, LG Display, LG CNS, and other affiliates.

LG Electronics
An overseas talent recruitment group consisting of about 20 people-including senior R&D and human resources personnel-held recruitment sessions in North America.
  • Conducted recruitment roadshows twice in Japan and once each in Europe, India, and Russia.
  • On their overseas trips, CEOs and presidents have occasionally been conducting recruitment activities in meetings with students studying abroad, in seminars, and at other events.
LG Display
Executives responsible for HR and R&D affairs held four recruitment roadshows in North America and Japan, as well as other regions.
LG Chem
BC Tours and Tech Fairs are geared toward recruiting overseas superior talent.
  • BC Tour: In connection with top management's overseas trips, the company held recruitment sessions to attract local talent.
  • Tech Fair: A recruitment session in the form of an academic seminar organized by R&D personnel and a consulting company.
LG CNS
Starting with Europe, the company conducted four recruitment sessions to attract global IT experts essential for expanding its overseas businesses.
